I don't think it's a matter of "framing" or "the dominant narrative." Abortion is simply a serious matter given the nature of the procedure, even for those who are firmly pro-choice. It's a very, very tiny minority that truly feels an abortion is no big deal.

I think most people who have an abortion take it pretty seriously. But "meh" works too I guess.
