Loved Emmett's storyline, just like Carrie.  The only thing that could have made the Cochlear story better would be a little dose of Travis.

Jude appreciation thread.  He's my favorite among the non-adults on the show.  Go Jude!

I don't know of any show that offers complete closure in a season finale.  I don't see this like the season 1 finale at all.

What was wrong with this ending?

Agreed—With their broken-up seasons, you would think ABC Family would have plenty of room in their schedule for both shows.

So Isaac is back to having a thing for Allison, unfortunately.  We all know he belongs with Scott.

    Shirtless tally: 0

This is par for the course for Phil's Teen Wolf reviews.  He doesn't care about the show and only watches it (and writes minimally about it) because he's paid to.

Lots of emotions, most of them genuine and warranted.  A great episode!  I like that there was no drama about domestic partners being "immediate family" in the hospital … I half expected that to be the "issue of the week."

Well, Bay is going to need something to keep her occupied while Ty is away…

Nice continual development in the John-Regina relationship as John generously gave Regina some business.  Even though it served the plot to get Regina into Toby's storyline, it also built off of John's post-heart attack renewed perspective on Regina.

Was the show implying that Daphne taking the $47 was justified?  I was balking at my TV.

The season finale is in 2 weeks, so I'm not surprised we're getting the usual build to wrapping up this half-season's round of teen romances… time for Ty to head back to Afghanistan and for Daphne to break up with Jace.  Despite how predictable it is, I still enjoy watching how it plays out and how it affects Bay and

That is exactly the same stretch of road they tried to pass off as a highway to Mexico last season.

    Ephemeral!

So what was the point of the (seemingly) random insertion of a plot for bald prison guard's son?  Is it just to drive home the point that bald prison guard is a horrible father?

They appear to be in Kansas, since they were at Ty's military base, which was mentioned to be in Kansas.

Television needs more of a Fringe influence.

His character died within one episode on OUAT.

    Fine with me.
