If it gets him on the screen more often, I'm all for it.  But you're probably right…

Dylan O'Brien remains as fantastic on this show as ever.

Hooray for Scott's tattoo if only so that we can get some Tyler Posey shirtlessness that last season was sorely short on.

What did you think was the coolest moment?
    Deer ramming the car
    Shirtless twin morphage
    Bird attack

    Shirtless tally:
    Daniel Sharman (Isaac): 4
    Twins (x2): 1
    Lydia's Boytoy: 1

Colton Haynes already left the credits.  He wasn't in tonight's.

Let's also mourn the fact that we still have Phil as our reviewer.

    I'm in.

I understand.  In a way, aren't we learning about Jenna's character by the fact that she herself isn't moving past this cliche, that she is too fixated on sex to have a meaningful, genuine relationship with a guy?  I suppose we don't know (yet) if that's what the writers are aiming for or if they are merely lazily

"Why couldn’t Collin be a non-romantic figure in her life who awakens Jenna ideologically as opposed to sexually…"
Because Jenna only thinks sexually now.  It's been established that Jenna only likes Matty for what he offers her sexually, which is essentially why she chose Matty over Jake.  Her interest in Collin seems

Kyle wasn't even in class this week. Instead, there was an empty desk where he has previously sat.

He's still in high school.  It's his senior year, I believe.  I don't think it's reasonable to expect a high schooler to move out of his parents' house, whether he's 18 or not.  And most high school seniors turn 18 during their senior year.

    Agreed.  I was impressed.

"Make something passable out of nothing at all" is the Heck family motto.  Just look at their house and their kitchen appliances.

Glad to see French Stewart has nothing better to do.

    Classic Brick.

Not to restate what's said here (justifiably) every week, but the Middle deserves so much more recognition than it gets.

Amen.  And reviews that apparently are regularly read by the show's executive producer…

As an example of generation gap, my mom recognized Marion Ross from Happy Days, while I recognized her from Gilmore Girls, where she played Lorelai I.

Agreed on the chest waxing. From my knowledge, plenty of high-school-aged guys have chest hair.
