Agreed about Weekend Update — none of its hilarity originated from Seth Meyers.

    Once.

    As you should.

"They both like the elliptical machine." Clearly they are perfect for each other.

You are right on the mark calling this season "consistently good."  Modern Family wishes for this kind of consistency…

The Stars Hollow set shows up on GoogleEarth for anyone interested in wasting a couple hours of your day…

Looks like an interesting idea… a 13 episode self-contained series a la American Horror Story.

Exactly.  Which is totally something that would appeal to Sue.

But shouldn't it be spelled Egh? Or maybe with a silent y?

They deserve it!  I love the official reasoning: "What could be a reality-show premise – two families discovering their teenage daughters, one of whom is deaf, were switched at birth – is explored with honesty, imagination and humor in this superior family series."

    Perfectly reasonable.

"I really hope that Last Man Standing retools itself every season, or at least continues recasting characters"

Anything advertised on ABCFamily will be default look soapy, but that doesn't necessarily mean it is soapy.  If they pull out another Switched at Birth or Bunheads quality show, I'm in.

I'm glad to hear you came back for round two.  Stick with it!

The threat of a non-violent AVClub sit-in will not go away until these reviews return this summer!

Very nicely put.  I think you might be right.

Well, it was marginally different every time.  It is almost like they were programmed to do certain things every day, and until circumstances changed the program, they just repeated them.

So did Travis already move in with Melody and Emmett?  In the scene where Melody is signing on the video-phone at home, Travis and Emmett are hanging out in the background.

No easy answers is what this show specializes in and does so well.

I'm all in for Occupy AVClub if they cancel Carrie's reviews.
