The nickname actually comes from the time I bought a particularly unwieldy & ugly Freshjive beanie. My friends made me wear it all the time. There are large swaths of people I met in the late 90s, early 00s that have no idea what my real name is, if they remember me at all.

OK. I sensed there was a history there, but wasn't privy to it. I was thinking about actual Nazi and rapists. I don't know anything about parentheses and white supremacists. But then I'm a white dude with a shaved head and New Balance shoes on. I had no idea that was racist until quite recently.

Whew! So glad I don't have a smart phone. Now all they can hack is my PC, tablet, car, TV, fridge, microwave, and toilet. No judgement, please.

I didn't/don't really know the etiquette for full-service gas. I kind of assumed since it was a service being provided. But that's a whole different Mr. Pink / Mr. White question.

I will occasionally enjoy a bowl of steamed rice with butter (well, margarine) and salt. Maybe some pepper. Never really enjoyed most of the sweeter breakfast foods. But I still get strange looks for rice for breakfast.

I had the exact opposite experience. Been pumping my own gas my whole life. Stopped to refuel the rental car before returning. About 5 minutes into filling up the tank somebody came out and said it was full service. So I felt kinda crappy about not giving a tip, but I'd already done the work.
