Thanks for adding this link. It sounds like a good read.

NOTE TO SELF: Google Aubrey Addams when you get home.

That's kind of what I wanted to say, but as a straight male I didn't feel like I could, especially since the person who made the movie is a lesbian. So, I guess, who am I to say? But, on the other hand, I still felt the movie portrayed lesbian couples in a poor light, and it still upset me, regardless of whether I

On paper, I have no objections to twee, syrupy, gayness. But if I'm honest I'm not keen on free spirits or bohemians, and I sort of identified more with Annette Bening. So for me it was a movie about a nice, hard-working mom who was treated poorly by her wife and children and then was given the responsibility of

Not so much discipline, I admit, as opportunity. I ended up powering through the last two seasons each time, but right now I have a ridiculous amount of TV shows I'm watching on a weekly basis (among other things) and it's all I can do to keep up.

It's not technically less funny than it used to be, but it seems less funny because there have been so many episodes and we've become accustomed to the characters. Therefore the primary element of comedy, surprise, is more difficult to accomplish.

Oh great, a misunderstanding. Do you know how many forms we're going to have to fill out?

Sorry, legible in what way? I don't quite follow.

I feel a little guilty for posting a purely negative comment without anything constructive to say, but boy, I really disliked The Kids Are All Right. I won't say it's the worst Best Picture contender I've seen, because Crash, but I did not enjoy it at all.

Of course it's subjective. I love Curb Your Enthusiasm, and I like Archer, but Happy Endings makes me laugh out loud more frequently than either of those shows. I actually didn't see the first season, so I don't know how much it's changed.

I sure hope you're right. During Community's long hiatus, it surpisingly grew into my favorite comedy. (surprising because Parks & Rec seemed like a shoo-in)

Also: Moonrise Kingdom, Looper, and This is 40.

" Who isn't miserable with their chosen profession? The majority of the population, imo."

I can't stand Maroon or Everything to Everyone, and I enjoyed the first four. But they came back to make some good songs after in Barenaked Ladies Are Men and Barenaked Ladies Are Me. I'm not sold on their newest album with one of the lead singers gone, but the girlfriend is a BNL superfan and she likes it enough.

This may be true. I thought as long as I was staying in Tricky and Supertricky it would keep building, but perhaps I was wrong.

I feel like I was. I got several million on my first try on multiple Trick It events, then on this particular event I made perhaps a dozen attempts and never broke 1 million, despite reaching Tricky and Supertricky and staying in them for quite a while.

Thanks for the response!

OK, I'm finally caught up enough to comment. I'm not totally into this show, and here are my (highly subjective) reasons:

I've never played an SSX game before, but I loved Amped 3, so I rented this one.

Pretty good serial. I can only imagine fans watching at the time must have been pretty gobsmacked by the cliffhanger where Vicki and Steven find the Monk's TARDIS. It was a great reveal.
