Even Doctor Who laughs at time remnants. They are the worst.

I wish they solved every problem by him running really fast. I feel like they solve every problem with the STAR Labs crew inventing some magical device that disables the villains powers.
I almost think The Flash is too powerful to make a TV show about. You can believe it in the comics because of the medium, but when it's in live-action, I can't understand why The Flash deals with every villain the same way: he runs really fast into the scene, comes to a complete stop about 10 feet away from the bad…
Me too. After that, I wasn't sure if they'd ever be able to win me back. The Runaway Dinosaur came close, and if they could maintain that level of quality, I could forgive the dumb stuff they'd done in the past, but this finale is about as bad as any episode they've produced so far.
For me, the most satisfying part of any action-adventure movie or show is when the hero comes up with a clever way out of a difficult situation that I didn't see coming.
Every season a different evil speedster will kill a different grandparent. That's four seasons right there! Easy-peasy.
I recommend the following episode of This American Life:
Yup! Honestly I don't even think they're in the same weight class.
All the praise for True Detective sometimes feels like a prank TV critics are playing on me. There are lots of shows that don't appeal to me where I can still understand what others see in them, and True Detective is not one of those shows.
Young Adult is a fantastic movie!
Is it sexist of me to take the female showrunners as a positive sign? I'd love for Agent Carter to have a strong feminist point-of-view.
I don't know. Looks all right.
I actually agree with all your choices, Todd, except Sherlock and Archer. Sherlock had a troubled third season, sure, but I'm still watching it. I've tried several episodes of Archer, and it just isn't my cup of tea.
This sounds like the perfect show to DVR for a while and wait to hear "Man, Almost Human is getting pretty good." See: Sleepy Hollow, Arrow.
I think you could actually do a decent "take it seriously" storyline for Super Mario Bros, but not by going grim and gritty. I'd like to see a story where Mario finds his way back to the normal world, and has to deal with becoming a plumber again after years of being a hero and dating a princess. I mean, that sort of…
I mention it all the time! It's one of my favorite TMBG songs. I never get tired of hearing it.
Headline alone made me laugh out loud. I can't imagine a more ridiculous sentence. Good work, sir!
For me, Mad Men is the greatest drama of all time. Yes, I love The Wire, and I love Deadwood, and Freaks & Geeks, and so forth, but none of them speak to me the same way that Mad Men does.
Good article and all, but I'm sad that the "Up next" doesn't say Taxi or either of the Bob Newhart shows.
Usually I watch quite a few animated films, but this year I've only seen Monsters University so far. I intend to see Frozen, too. But overall it feels like a fairly weak year for big animated movies.
