Crank with all the profanity removed? Then what are we going to see written on his forehead?

That's a good point. Maybe it plays into why Peter was needed to work the Machine. And why the Observer decided to pull him from the lake in the first place.
OP listens to Beethoven and wanted you to know that.
I love the idea that someone can run for Batman.
Why spend however many millions of dollars on advertising a movie that everyone is already going to see? Serious question. Everyone loved the last one, and it made an incredible amount of money. Do people need to be convinced to see Rises?
I wondered out loud during that commercial if any party that looks like that has ever been thrown in real life. No party I've ever been to has even superficially resembled the crazy awesome good time these attractive people have jumping into pools, etc., in pop culture.
I'm not sure what's worse: Secret Word or Lawrence Welk. Both depress the hell out of me when they come on.
That's a typo.
My no-prize ready analysis: Neil found the stick a long time ago but couldn't get it to work. Somehow he intuited that it had to do with math and seeing the future, thus why he was studying math to figure out how to operate it. But, for whatever reason, actually it didn't start working until Peter returned to…
My understanding from Van Zandt's interview is that Netflix co-produced it with a Norwegian company. I think similarly to how Todd Margaret is co-produced by British and American TV.
Will there be any TV Club reviews of Lilyhammer? I'd appreciate someone else watching it for me and then letting me know if I should bother.
Thanks a lot Ed! I'm hoping to see this next week.
I agree. It would feel like a complete story. I know there's been talk saying the show is literally about community, in general and not just community college, and it could keep going if they graduate, but you can only ask for so many miracles.
I feel for you. More than once I've lived in a fairly isolated location without access to a car. It blows.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, stop the clock!
I see a lot of people being very dismissive of this idea, probably because it sounds dumb, but since all of Spike Jonze's movies so far have been, in my opinion, excellent, and he doesn't make movies that often, I will assume something about this project speaks to him and that it will actually be very good.
I'll be watching Nick Offerman's live show American Ham tonight at the Largo. I'm very excited, though I have no idea what to really expect, beyond "a hilarious collection of Anecdotes, Songs and Woodworking Tips with minor nudity."
She seems lovely, and I'd enjoy seeing her perform in a dignified role in a well-made TV show or movie.
I think that way, too, but I wonder if it's because I pay for HBO and don't pay for Showtime so I want to comfort myself that I made the right choice and that Showtime shows aren't worth my time.
Do you have a legit theory behind this? I'd be interested to hear it.
I consider myself a big fan of comedy, in both TV show and stand-up form, but I don't particularly like comedy podcasts. I also don't particularly like Party Down. Is there some connection?
