It wasn't Jax being manipulative (he aint Walt White), it is just bad writing trying to build to the decision as to what would take Opie to that point…and thats why him being the one who died wasn't surprising, you could plainly see the tracks being laid.

Advertising that there was going to be a major death int his episode was a mistake.

Man, Sutter really is terrible at choosing which characters will or won't die. I can see where this could be the beginning of Jax being fueled as a leader, but I have a feeling once all the revenge is said and done there won't be much of it carried over. Meh.

Anybody else really feeling the X-Files influence in these last two episodes?

I hope the flash-forward leads to hearing Walt say "We have to go back!"

Am I the only person glad about this? I can now stop getting my hopes up by seeing a good film on there and then going "oh great, it will be shitty starz quality." So tired of bad picture quality and improper aspect ratios from them.

Shocked by the turn of this episode. Who would of thought that Will Ferrell would be the worst thing to happen to Eastbound & Down? (includes his first season work)

Lets be honest as the mini-series we all kind of thought this should be initially, Brody blowing himself up while he was on the phone with Dana would have been amazing, but as a season finale for an actual series this was pretty good. Especially with the potential of season 1 and 2 essentially being one solid story as

Good pilot, a little dense, but I imagine that will easily flesh itself out once we have a few episodes to dive into.

Also it was a shocking ending, but did anyone else just give a slow golf to Terrence Winter at the end?
