Kinda like Noel's
Each passing year, I consume less and less new music, making it difficult to make a "Best of" list, but…
1. Reigning Sound - Love and Curses
Rock. Roll. The best there is.
2. Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears - Tell 'Em What Your Name Is
3. We Were Promised Jetpacks - These Four Walls
I've always

While I can't say enough good things about Jim Shepard, I'd rank "Love and Hydrogen" about "Like You'd Understand Anyway."

Facebook theme for Book 2?

ABC v. Nickelodeon
What is "The View" if not just a "Roundhouse" rehash?

Colbert Nation
I'd choose Stephen Colbert. He's funny as shit, and after seeing him on Charlie Rose last year, he seems like an incredibly genuine and nice guy…philosophical even. What's not to like? Of course, were I to meet him, I'd probably embarass myself, since when I get really nervous…it's verbal diarhea

Maybe I should google "rhetorical question" after that, lovemydog.

Noel Murray would probably be able to correct me if I'm wrong…
…but isn't there already a musical based on the life of P.T. Barnum called, uh, "Barnum"?

One can only hope that they replace him mid-season with a fat Fred Savage.

Michael's in charge, of our days, and our nights.
So, did anyone else notice that it was the brainy daughter (The one who wasn't Nicole Eggert) from "Charles in Charge" who played the battered wife last night?

Finn, right there with ya' on the "FNL". Easily the best acted show on TV. All cast members deserve an acting nod, but since that can't happen (Maybe at the SAG Awards?), at the very least Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton should've been nominated. At leat the show got a nomination for Best Casting. Which, it too,

The wedding is yours
(Congrats, btw, Vincent. Your wedding's just 8 days before my first wedding anniversary.) While planning our wedding, my wife and I were of the mind that everyone we were inviting were all those we loved and respected, and vice versa. And it was because we knew our guests loved and respected

I was going to ask, is this show "inspired" by the Kurt Russell movie? Or is it just highly coincidental that there's a show with the same name, and same theme of an effective cop living above the law?

Wait a minute…
…wasn't Marilyn Manson making this movie?!?

Loving this season so far
Though it's only 3 episodes deep, this season's been pretty tight. I'm not sure I'm loving the whole Paxson storyline just yet, but I'd like to see how it plays out. As of now, it just seems a little too forced—but all in all, these 3 eps. have been up there with the best of last season.

OhNoNotAgain, I disagree. While Mortal Kombat is a great video game, I'd have to say Donkey Kong is the greatest video game ever.

I think summer just began last night!
Great kick-off to the new season! And like everyone else, so glad to have the show back.

Any Mets fans are still very familiar with Bob's Discount Furniture: he's a big sponsor. You'll see his commercials at least twice during each game, and he's got a sign underneath the JumboTron at Citi Field.

Some other "favorites" for the Tri-Staters. (Well, for South Jersey-ians at least.)

Spitting image
Pacino already nailed the Kevorkian look in "Angels In America."

Posey Hipster—I thought you looked familiar. I was at the Albany show as well. It indeed did rock. And roll.
