Godzilla 2: Matthew Broderick Strikes Back
Godzilla 2: Matthew Broderick Strikes Back
My local cinema which luckily has the best and largest screens in the state seem to absolutely despise 3D. When the new blockbusters open and have both dimension versions, there will be six sessions of the 2D and only two of the 3D, that's on the opening day. They always give the 2D versions the biggest screen and…
Rule of thumb; If it's shot with 3D cameras it may be worth seeing in 3D. If it's just a post production conversion, skip like a motherfucker.
Hello Whore…
Kinda like the rom-com/assassin genre defining classic Mr & Mrs Smith?
One of the only good Ryan Reynolds films, Buried.
Is this Apple's response to the Vince Vaughn 'Google' movie?
See that is the problem a lot of people just create out of nothing. The answer about the Pearl given is totally right, there is no extra explanation needed. If the answer to that was "to see which test subjects were capable to be responsible to press the button in the swan station". You can't just say "but why were…
But there was no mystery with the 'pneumatic tube thing'. I hear so many people bring up things they say were unanswered, then I answer them.
Yeah the world of Justified doesn't seem to use any sort of criminal forensics. I mean it must be pretty easy to determine from the bullet trajectory that all the shots fired in Art's direction came from a 6ft4 man and not a 5ft kid.
Wait, what? Since when did McQueen have an Oscar?
It was a joke, I know her name (would have to check for spelling though). It was done under the guise of the av club is under the banner of the onion, and they stirred up some controversy by calling a young girl the C word last awards season.
It was originally intended to be a short story. Fleming sat on it for a long time, then expanded it before testing the publication waters.
Well I think if I spouted those stereotypes, as someone who grew up in the 90's it would be pretty terrible…I mean 'oreientals' not having the spirit for high stakes gambling? Have you been to a casino recently?
Isn't Annie about to be played by the young actress the Onion called a c**t. Who beat out Will Smith's daughter, really seems like they were going for something specific there. You know with that orphan with the curly red hair.
Of course that is horrible by todays standards. But it's easy for us to judge. I don't, as I wasn't around in the 50's and wasn't influenced by father figures who grew up in the early 1900s.
Well he didn't actually have to be english. Not that it matters because all the actors despite their own nationally have played Bond as british (that's kinda what actors do?). Fleming never gave any backstory for Bond til after the films, which he used Connery as the basis for and gave Bond Scottish roots from his…
Wow you really just shattered my world perspective. You know it's not racist to think a character that was conceived and created as white and therefore the characteristics of that FICTIONAL person become completely negated if a hollywood producer thinks, "how about we be edgy and prove we aren't racict and make Clark…
As I said, if the film series went and cast Idris Elba (or anyone else) that's fine. But for me as a fan of Fleming's novels, I feel they would need to address the issue of, "is it just the same character in a different time period?" Or is it just a whole bunch of different agents going by the code name 'James Bond'?
Not a comic book person, so no real opinion, sorry.
