Yeah, like all those other times when supporting roles in gross out comedies got Oscar and Bafta noms.

I will be totally down with this whole Melissa McCarthy phase as soon as I see her in something that is worthy of an Ocsar nomination….because that's what she is…an Oscar nominated actress…yeah, the chick from Mike and Molly. Yeah apparently talking dirty and shitting in a sink is worthy of the academy…because…

I think she has always had the gun, aquiring the 'pistol' has been pretty haphazard though. At least Joel Edgerton has stuck by her though thick and thin, poor guy, must not realise she is married.

Seems like Nolan is getting everyone he wants, maybe Natalie Portman should get him as a producer for her next next starring/producing role.

Yeah I agree on the time thing, no one is going to try and make a 30 minute drama in this landscape and no show that is 60 minutes is funny enough throughout it's running time to be a comedy.

I would say this is one of those series that hits 'real life' pretty well. Just like 'real life' there is both comedy and drama, but just like in real life, the drama will always outweigh the laughter, even if there is more of the latter.

You can start preaching once you have a picture of a polar bear again.
