Also people are laying so much of their hangups on JJ. He was never a fan, he is doing classic directors work here, the story elements were not his work, that was Lindelof, Orci and Kurtzman.

JJ saying no time travel in Lost was never something to take note of. Abrams had basically no involvement in Lost after the beginning of the second season.

Yeah I was thinking when Kirk died, maybe JJ knew about getting the Star Wars gig a long time ago. This was his parting gift to whoever takes over the franchise, "good luck bringing back Kirk from the dead".

She is horribly unfunny, her schtick of "I'm fat…vagina…Bogan…still fat" was not funny the first time. Her 'hosting' of the MTV awards was just too cringe worthy to even get fringe comedy value out of it.
