The Ewok/Endor Holocaust hypothesis is much lighter reading, and makes the end of Return of the Jedi more palatable; http://starwars.wikia.com/w…

We would be better off waiting for the BBC to reanimate some of the lost episodes, remember that they have audio recordings of every lost episode to work with.

Americans, you need to be so much nicer to the BBC's prop department. This story was put together at a time when, for the British, bubble wrap was a futuristic thing and they certainly didn't expect us to be rewatching it never mind discussing it on the internet which (without resorting to Wikipedia to date/fact

Insulted the Northern Irish too, we're a completely separate race. We've been entrusted with this year's G8 summit y'know.

Heck of a choice for the people though, as if they have a choice in it all. Evil, or thorough incompetence.

Well… we don't talk about you lot either, unless it's about the money you're not giving us for the A5.

I don't think the Starks who have died deserved death so much as it was a release for their people from their idiocy.

Evil? Cool headed pragmatism more like. The Lannister maxim of always paying your debts is a necessary one in Westeros, you pay up before someone comes to extract payment from you by means of their chosing.

I'd like to know if I should continue watching Charlie Jade, after two episodes it seems… ok.

And a Ford Escort, so many (European) Ford Escorts.

Do they actually know what it was? Ironic perhaps to threaten us with a show that showed winners what they might have, but didn't win, while at the same time reminding us what they could have, but didn't (yet) review for us.

Asking seriously, is Manning "confused" about gender or sexuality. The article makes it look like the former, which I thought was different to being gay.

What an awful title.

Best bit in the film is De Niro's face during the chase scene. Allegedly, the car he was in was a UK model, with right hand drive and De Niro sat in front of a dummy wheel for filming. The odd grimace on his face is him, bricking it, as the stunt driver flicks the hand brake on and off.

I know, but like Audience Member says, Cumberbatch plays him well. I just hate it when a so-so film gains undue acclaim for making use of a good actor.

If only there was a website that would take donations from people like us, put it towards silly projects that might not otherwise make the light of day.

I'm guessing fan disapproval might count for something with the slightly lower Trek takings, I saw the first reboot Star Trek three times, this disappointing sequel just the once.

The whole thing is just a completely normal summertime action movie, no need to painstakingly paste some Star Trek decals onto it.

I sometimes think the same when an inspired amateur makes something like that Star Wars anime, that I might become a patron to the arts and get them to give up a night shift to finish the thing.

Agreed, Cumberbatch announces his real name with an air of deserved importance, Kirk just looks at him as if the Federation got rid of Wikipedia and the Discovery channel years ago and there was no way for anyone to pick up trivia on past wars and no way for him to know about Khan.
