I thought Lemon of Troy was trying for a Roobarb and Custard pun, but there was no arsehole cat to justify it.
A christmas I feel bad about (looking back, cartridges were bloody expensive!) I convinced my parents to pick me up two SNES carts, Zelda LTTP and Mario Kart. I wanted to play Mario Kart battle mode so badly that I ended up playing against myself when my sisters got bored of it and did so until my eyes hurt a bit.
Not seeing the Raston Warrior Robot on nuWho was bad enough, but then it sort of rebooted the Cybermen it slaughtered into the same sort of being, moving faster than the eye can see.
DS9 wasn't Trek, and this episode wasn't even really DS9 at all, more of a Twilight Zone experience.
As an outlier amongst outliers, I can happily dismiss it.
I didn't care so much for this as it seemed to be Trek wanting to the The Twilight Zone.

So this'll be the movie that Doom should have been, with something actually coming from hell and not just something, something, Martian DNA, blah.
Not that the quality of the movie would have been any better, just that it would have honoured the thin plot of the game.
I thought Prometheus was an actual Alien movie.
My inner child was severely disappointed with RTD giving us a big no to a reappearance of the RWR.
When do Hans Zimmer scores ever not pound and roar with dread?

Excellent, I still have time to catch up on one of the newly restored stories. I'm looking forward to the hilarity of the Cybermen in the 5 Doctors.
Ah, the inevitable, I'm not anti-X, I have friends who are X.
Empire Strikes Back only worked so well because Lucas wasn't able to "help". Unless Kasdan actually knee capped Abrams to keep him away from the set, this can still work out badly for all concerned.
Is it the nose?
Or is he planning on voice acting in a Chinese animation that respects US history better than any US production could?
Weird, Damon just keeps looking a decade older than he actually is and Clooney a decade younger.
Just me or does that ship have a concerned look on its face?
Star Trek The Animated Series had some incidental music that was as good as any on the live action show itself.
