@ Akron-A fleeting sense of malaise would be appropriate. Don't worry, it'll pass.

@ Flaubert….good on her if she could do it. My son was born via C-section, so natural wasn't an option, but we've had more than one friend go into labour planning natural birth, change her mind pretty damn quickly and not regret it.

@Chester-it's the cold, can't breathe through the nose.
@Cybernetic-Theory of Creedleback anyone?
@arsehole-Jane Siberry's Canadian? Cool. I thought as Canadians we were obligated to know every compatratriot who just might be familiar to Americans, but I guess I was wrong!

Good on him
Nice of him to take a break from being an insufferable prick to try and stop other people from being bigger insufferable pricks then he is, so he can once again go back to being the biggest insufferable prick.

Jaleel White
Biggest example of irrational self-confidence, or simply compensating for the fact that anyone born before 1985 wants to kill him, and no one born after has ever heard of him?

Although I guess your comment was about the character, not the abuse, so yeah, I read good. I guess Jaime Lannister is pretty close to that fucked up/awesome, and Joffrey is an evil little bastard. But on the scale of Octavian, maybe not.

Afghamistam-If you haven't read the books, just wait. Song of Ice and Fire has more than it's share of abuse of men, women and children, both for sexual gratification and otherwise. So, enjoy!?

My wife watches Teen Mom and Glee religiously, but her fav. show of all time is The Wire, and her fav. movie is Apocalypse Now. I guess what I'm saying is everyone has some taste, but enjoys trash too. So let's just keep making sweeping generalizations about gender preferences. BTW there is a whole lot more horrible

Maybe he was saying "fucks" and Joel misheard. That would make more sense.

Down to earth, except for the whole "natural birth" thing. I'm suspicious of anyone who won't willingly take drugs when they're legally available. Given, it wasn't actually him doing the natural birth, but still.

Bravo Dr. on your extremely awkwardly worded firstie. At least you can treat your own canceraids.

I imagine the Tommy set was fairly interesting…him, hittable drugged out Ann-Margaret, The Who, rock bottom Clapton and Tina Turner. There would be stories, if anyone could remember them.

I got into Dark Side becuase of drugs, not alienation. I got off drugs, got alienated, and then got into the Wall. Then I went on harder drugs and got into Atom Heart Mother. So the moral of the story is purple monkey dishwasher.

Final Cut's Great, especially Gunner's Dream, but man that production. Just horrible, horrible horrible. I nearly went deaf listening to that record. Fletcher Memorial Home is awesome too though.

I'm going with Honey Pie. God I hate that song. Rocky Raccoon too. On the other hand, The White Album has two of my all time favorites in Helter Skelter and Blackbird, so like everything else about McCartney, I'm conflicted.

Where I live, the MOR station and the classic rock station have achieved a bizarre and horrible synchronicity. The classic rock station's setlist has been moving forward rapidly, and MOR has remained unchanged since 1998 or so, so we have not one but two stations that play Nickleback, Live and Collective Soul at least

While they might be South African, I'm less than proud as a Canadian to say we still have the shittiest bands on the planet. Nickleback, Theory of a Dead Man, Three Day's Grace, Finger 11, Arcade Fire.

Finally!
I've been soooo excited for this. From the sound of the review, this may be even better than Nickelback's triumph "Dark Horse". I'll be singing along on the drive home tonite!

I'll try for you.
