The end battle that flashes back to them boxing/training would have been a lot more effective if we had seen scenes of them doing it before that episode.

I've seen a lot of musicals that end horribly for everybody, so I was happy that the whole village was only forced to flee and leave/sell their property.

Make Winter Chili Again

Finally saw Fiddler on the Roof on Sunday. When my girlfriend asked me what I thought, I said it was okay, but the songs weren't really that catchy. I found myself singing one of the songs this morning. Guess I liked it more than I thought.

Damn. They had a version of it at the festival I went to, but I didn't get to try it.
It was Dragon's Milk Reserve with Lemon and Raspberry (added to the keg afterward, most likely).

Next weekend my friend is doing a scotchtober event. Not yet sure which scotch I'll bring. My favorite for regular drinking has been Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban 12 Year Old Scotch, which is aged in port casks. The sweetness adds a lot to it.

I know someone who worked on the new version, so I'll watch that. I've been meaning to watch the original movie, but it isn't a top priority.

Farmers Market season is almost done, meaning I'll have my Saturdays free again (I mean, I'll miss the free produce). For the first half of November, I'll be doing weekend trips to both VT and Los Angeles, so I'm looking forward to that travel.
