Everything about the final episode of Friday Night Lights is perfect.

one of highlights of the show is when coach tells julie "boys only think about sex or food"

probably his haircut

yea in season 5 vince's rally girl gets in an argument with his girlfriend and says something to the effect of "in 2 weeks he'll break up with you for me"

I loved coach taylor yelling at landry the ref during the powder puff game. when landry calls julie's pass incomplete or whatever and coach just goes "what kind of call is that?! you're blind, son." the look of pure disgust on his face was great and his wife has to be like "calm down!"

this album sounds like a fun/pop version of death grips without the insanity.

into it.

preemptive cool story bro story:

i dunno if that was supposed to be a cheesy bangkok karaoke ballad or something, but that song is fucking cool. anyone know what it is?

Maybe all it needed was Dane Cook to go away for several years, but I'm finding myself seeing him in a much better light now.

i love his stand up. i love that he has this deliberately slow and monotonous delivery while saying these brutal punchlines. it's not conversational in the least, and with so many comedians out there that use the rambling "i'm just thinkin out loud up here, guys" style, he's refreshing.

i'd say

the very first night of college, my new roommate and i were watching tv together. he flips the channel to south park. the show ends. then the girls gone wild infomercial comes on.

i will agree they deserve absolutely nothingnothing more than me

i remember the very first time i heard it the music video was on tv. i had already designated weezer as "band i used to love but now hate" status and didn't know i could hate them any more until the line

yea it has become the go-to favorite community moment for bros, but i can still remember how hard i laughed the first time i saw it so kudos to ken jeong for that ridiculous delivery

yup, totally into lower and sexdrome. wonder if there are any stateside equivalents? maybe a bauhaus on speed type of thing?

This guy. This guy knows how to hate something RIGHT.

Yea I was like "wow this guy's lyrics are pretty cool in an impressionistic way" so I think the linguistic awkwardness as you put it definitely makes him lean in that direction. I can't name another punk band in the past couple years or so that actually gave me a rush listening to them.
