I see why the split season worked now. Watching in the time-frame we did, these 7 truly felt a world away from last year's seven.

Seriously. I thought it was wonderful in its simplicity and catharsis.

I don't think this show ever claimed to have characters with laudable morals…just characters that were interesting to explore…

Since when did the occasional, and tasteful, fan service ever hurt anyone? I'd hate to think culture is THAT cynical.

Wow I didn't think there was a mystery factor there at all, that it really ends with Don just saying 'fuck it' and staying retired in hippyville. I guess we have our debate.

I saw the ad as a point of irony: That it was composed of the imagery of of what Don was experiencing, but all in all is just an ad.

I think that she was at least at a place of contentment.

Just came in here to say how much my heart is actually starting to break now that the reality of this weekend is setting in. Yeah, I mentioned below that in 'Shoot' she says someday wants a picture Sally crying because of how big her tears are.

I've been watching through season 1 alongside these episodes. I just watched 'Shoot'. You know, the one where Jim Hobart uses Betty as a Coca Cola model to lure Don to McCann. Anyway…lIttle Sally is crying to Betty and Don about the neighbor threatening to shoot their dog. After Sally leaves, Betty smiles and says

It's still hard to believe that those two shows, outstanding and timeless in their own different ways, were on the same small cable network at the same time.

..And then mr everyman from midwest drops the JC knowledge on him too.

Red Dead is such a wonderful game…nay…storytelling experience.

Obligatory plug to watch the 30 for 30 doc 'June 17th, 1994' on Netflix.

Unless di turned into a stalker ..but she seemed more interested in pushing Don away

Another 'Signal 30' callback: Ken gets his cathartic vengeance on Sterling for putting a muzzle on his writing career.
