God Eternal is off to an underwhelming start. Snyder is mostly hit, but also too often miss with me. (That includes American Vampire.) Plus, it doesn't help that Zero Year is over-bloated and taking forever. At least it's nowhere near as bad as Forever Evil.

Ah-ha! Thank you. That's what happens when over a decade passes since reading the book. (That's my passive-aggressive complaint that GRRM should write faster. Trying to keep it to one a week.)

What I watched looked like it was intended to convey non-consensual sex — i.e., rape. I don't think there was any room for any other interpretation of what happened in the scene. Changing the scene from the context of the book is a troubling choice, to say the least.
