That's the way of the world.

I love being able to start off my day with a Flip Murray reference. Thank you, @avclub-141f784f9d5f94e4b73e355ee69343ee:disqus

Man, remember when VH1 used to air actual programming that human beings could tolerate?

It probably will on its own, but as a huge fan of the show, I'm hoping it doesn't get made. It'll end up like Alvin and the Chipmunks or the Smurfs movie, and they can't do that to the Fraggles. Keep one franchise sacred!

You sick man.

The Jim Henson company doesn't have their shit together at all; I'm not surprised there's been no movement on this or the long-gestating "Fraggle Rock" movie.

Has Denzel ever done comedy before? And I mean intentional comedy, before someone fires back with a hacky "Deja Vu" or "The Book of Eli" joke.

Few cinematic series have ever had the extreme pathos and feeling of the Garfield movies.

LIKE HELL I DON'T.

"You're Kareem Abdul-Jabaar. You play basketball for the Los Angeles Lakers."

I think that "Paradise Lost" might be a little too long to condense into a two-hour movie. Perhaps it could be made eventually, but length is a factor that has to be taken into consideration.

I have to agree there. I love the Beach Boys,; I'll defend most of their work to the end as being more than "the surfing band". But the idea of them playing without Carl Wilson, let alone Dennis, is disgusting.

I like ToughPigs's news articles and commentary, but I don't really like the layout of their forums. Plus Muppet Central caters to the "goofier" fans, if you get my drift, and that's

No problem! I provide the simple results, you provide the hard Muppet facts. I'm still working on my bachelor's in Muppet studies, while you sir, are clearly a PhD in all things Muppet.

If you type in "the muppet show original pilot" on youtube, the special should come up for your first result.

Puppets on bikes are perhaps one of the coolest things ever.

Well, when you only have to work thirty minutes a week, what else are you going to do?

Clearly you're not traveling in the right internet circles then.

I guess my biggest issue with the special was that, aside from the number with George and his mop, there's not really enough goofy humor to go along with the sentimentality of Mia's ode to the dog and everything else. By the time they got to the actual show in '76 (and especially by the time the first movie came out),

"Red Rose Speedway" is very underrated because "My Love" is so sappy it hides the fact he's doing a lot of different things with production on the album. The ending "Medley" is one of my favorite things he did, especially when the themes of the four songs are overdubbed onto each other with the guitar.
