I didn't hear he was battling dementia, that's so sad. He's basically the Brian Wilson of soul/funk, except he didn't even get the partial return that Brian Wilson has had since the mid-90s. Sly's one of the most important songwriters in rock history, and he's barely put out anything save a few singles since 1982. So

It was crazy, I loved all the flashbacks to older episodes showing how he did all these badass things when everyone thought he was sitting around. This probably isn't the last of him though, seeing how they like to bring recurring characters back every so often.

Ned Shimmelfinney!

Stinks about the reviews not continuing, they were fun to read and often made me think about the show in different ways. Anyway, this was an excellent start to the season and hopefully the rest can keep up.

That shirt may be from 1980's Canada, they've redesigned the logo a few times since then. Clearly Gene is shopping at Goodwill.

Why do you guys have to run a picture of him wearing what I'm pretty sure is a UConn denim shirt? Please don't smear my alma mater by associating such a dingbat with them.

The second episode (on the Disney Movies app) has Jennifer Tilly as the guest star, thereby answering the question of whatever happened to Jennifer Tilly.

I love how High Five Ghost was able to successful disguise himself as a child despite having no arms or legs.

Sounds exciting! I'd love a reissue of "Red Rose Speedway", since it was originally supposed to be a double album, so there are a lot of outtakes floating around, but these should be pretty cool.

I love how Muscle Man was able to stay in his underwear in the aliens plan. Guess Rigby's idea was flexible.

So sad he passed. "Facts Of Life" is one of the best soul/R&B album of the early seventies.

A Billion For Boris was awesome, I loved the idea of the TV telling the future. Could have made a killing on sports gambling.

I loved seeing the surfers seemingly not notice the oddity of Pops' car flying off when he was fleeing from the beach his first time there.

Clearly Thomas has an adventurous life outside of the park, hahaha.

"I'm not here to make friends, I'm here to make blends!"

Definitely agree with you here, it was great to see Eileen take the spotlight for a bit.

I definitely thought this was going to be a pretty rote episode once the original painting got covered in mustard, but Mordecai's struggles with his fears about his art put this episode in a different territory. I do like how they have been filling out bits and pieces of the main characters' backstories of late.

A great mix of shock, amazement and disgust.

Dance your cares away, worries for another day, let the music play, down at Fraggle Rock!

Punch-A-Bunch kicks Plinko's ass. What's cooler: dropping a chip down a board or punching a hole in something for money? Plus, no zeroes on Punch-A-Bunch.
