I recently recommended this show to a friend after neither of us really watched the first season. Based on the strength of everything I've seen this season, I felt pretty secure in my recommendation…until I watched this episode.

That scene kept going and going and going and going…

The phone call came after he put Zoe's slide in the trophy case. That usually doesn't happen until after he's dumped the body.

ocean, while I love the game, I would not call it one I "don't seem to get frustrated with". I came very near to smashing my Dual Shock yesterday.

Amen, AC. This is two posts in a row I'm in complete agreement with. Can I sign up for the newsletter?

Considering what he's done and who he's aligned himself with thus far, making the affair a family business ranks fairly low for me. I was more surprised by the fact Weston would leave his young children alone during such a volatile time.

In addition to the Chaps of Asslessness' points, realize the assault Zobelle has launched on the club is unprecedented as far as I know. In a span of 24-48 hours, they have permanently maimed and disfigured a prominent member and nearly killed another in a stunt that could have had far more damaging consequences.

Sunny comes on after everything else. In Central, at least.

I thought that was Happy, but I couldn't remember his name. He hasn't been around for a while, has he?

Did Hale mix in the D-word for lesbians when he was threatening Polly? I was watching it late and had to keep the volume low.

Typical number of Dexter episodes - 12. Assuming they all hit the 60-minute mark (which they won't considering intro, previously on, etc.), you're looking at 12 hours for the season.

Count me in with the "best episode yet" crew. The pilot showed promise, but since then, I've been less than impressed. This episode was sufficient reason to keep it on the DVR schedule.

While there are a few less hamfisted ways they could have relayed the information that the press is about to find out about Trinity and Lundy's mission to stop him,

I missed the pilot so I appreciated retreading familiar ground. The show isn't perfect, but I can't recall a second episode of any series that made me say "THIS IS AMAZING!"

The stinky room rape quote just leveled me for 60 seconds at my desk. I had forgotten just how awesome those episodes were.

Tim C, his "watch it, buddy" to Trish as they bumped into each other was pretty amusing.

I dug his exchanges with the bounty hunters prior to the hotel, but that flatbed bit came out on top. I hate that the moment had been somewhat spoiled by the previews from last week.

I can't see/hear anything about Neuticles without thinking "Neuticles! What news from the North?"

I found the pilot promising but was kinda disappointed with this one. I'll keep watching for now.

The argument on the first page over Dexter's evolution should illustrate that even those watching the show are divided on what continues to drive him. However, just looking at the first season…
