Charlie Day's role in Pacific Rim is basically just JJ Abrahms, I think its even been publicly acknowledged.

I'm guessing they get a list of topics that are gonna be covered before they appear, giving them time to throw together a few joke setups.

Patrick Stewart as an aging Lex Luthor at the height of his powers, desperate to preserve his life by stealing Superman's powers. Being in a Zach Snyder movie would at least be a (small) step up from being on Seth McFarlane shows.

I totally agree. I don't really like Affleck as Wayne, but I really don't like the loss of a talented director with a noir streak I really enjoyed.

I found the Daya/Bennett stuff alright when I binge watched it initially. But having gone back and watched it weekly to keep up AVC's coverage it definitely does drag.

Larry lost any sympathy with me when he told Piper's stories on the radio. Using the situation to enhance your career is one thing, but disregarding Piper's safety was too much. I'm sure Larry has seen enough cop shows to know what happens to snitches.

She's gotta fit it in with her other incredible work as… umm… and… hmm. She's not that great an actress, but shes found a good role on a good show. If she David Carusos' herself after one season she's an idiot.

I'm thinking Fig will end up either saving Piper so she can control the story, or at least get Piper less SHU time. Healy will get mad and go for petty vengeance by getting Alex transferred. (He doesn't know they broke up). Seems like the easiest plot fix.

I'm kinda hoping the next season will explore the fine line between delusion and religion more. If you tell people aliens are watching you, and that if you're good, when you die, they'll teleport you to their home planet for insane tentacle sex, people will run screaming from you. Say the same thing about a bearded

Technically coriander is ground cilantro seeds. I prefer coriander to cilantro, it doesn't have the soapy taste.

I'm kinda hoping he and John Hamm team up for a comedy project next. Maybe a Men of a Certain Age type deal, but with more comedy and less pathos.

I realize I'm tardy to the party and no one may read this, but I wanted to defend the show against the "Liberal white person saves minorities" accusations. I'm a young white guy of slightly above average intellect and I happened to spend time in facility much like the one Piper is in. I was placed on a cell block that

Giant vampire monsters who shit ammonia is right up his alley though. And its not like Walking Dead is known for its deep characters.

Just because the actors are younger and the writing is more risque doesn't mean old people don't flock to it. My 60 year old, weekly church going, conservative aunt loves dreck like BBT, 2 Broke Girls, and 2.5 Men.

Exactly, he can't trust another sociopath not to turn on him for their own gains. Freddie would write about him in a heartbeat, and Tobias probably looked at Hannibal's long, lean frame and instantly started picturing restringing a quartet. He needs someone morally comprised and that he can control.

There are really only 3 funny people on Modern Family (Ty Burrell, Nolan Gould, and Ed O'Neill). They could re-tool the show by having Gloria leave Jay and Claire leave Phil (taking the girls with her), then Jay moves in with Phil and Luke after bonding over their mutual heart break. It would be like 2.5 Men, only,

A la carte cable does sound awesome, but it also has serious downsides. One of the reasons AMC can afford to make awesome stuff like Breaking Bad and Mad Men (and Walking Dead, though I'm not a fan) is because they force cable companies to pay for their entire suite of channels (WE tv, IFC, Sundance) if they want

Agreed, I could take or leave Jeselnik himself, he comes off as a poor man's Daniel Tosh to me, but the show itself is pretty funny, especially when the panel comes out. Having Amy Schumer and Aziz Ansari on his first ep earned a lot of good will from me.

Autopsies aren't generally done on old people who seem to die of natural causes, unless one is requested. Especially in a city like Chicago whose morgue has a line of foul play bodies to get through.

Seriously, watch the Goonies. Its probably the pinnacle of the "kids vs. criminals" genre and the script holds up well.
