When I finished the finale, I read a lot of reaction which basically ran along the lines of "Pennsatucky's an awesome character", and I wasn't sure about that at all. Then, when listening to Dan Fienberg's take on her during the Firewall & Iceberg segment on it, I realized why - she' so, so, so scary to me, and its

Fun fact: Pornstache's bit about the Japanese not inventing Su Doku and being suspicious that it came out "just before 9/11" was improv'd by Schreiber http://www.vulture.com/2013…

"Ergo? Affleck's finally gonna win that Oscar!"

Anyone else hoping for Dog Travis to make an appearance?

Because that's how it's spelled on all the press materials provided by the show.

I wouldn't be surprised if she was in some rough State penitentiary, where she had to put up a tough exterior, one she maintained when she went to the Federal facility.

The problem with Brendanawicz was that they paired him up with another 'straight man' character in Ann. A 'straight man' is supposed to be there to bounce off the more cartoonish characters, not a fellow 'straight man'. Kinda like how a positive electric charge has to pair up with a negative charge to work.

That was just incredibly adorable - the mix of panic in her eyes and the way she blurted it out was so endearing. Before the show aired all the critics were worrying about Sonya coming across as too unsympathetic, but that couldn't be further from what I feel about her personally.

@Like a 6 Foot Turkey Yael Stone (Lorna) is Australian, so that might explain the accent issues (although I still think its a fantastic performance).

I initially thought Prepon was woefully miscast here, but later (after the last half of the season) came to the conclusion that, although the role could have been possibly been played a little better, she was just fine here.

I say Netflix should release the next season in June. That way it would quality for 2015 Emmys while boosting season one's chances of nominations in 2014 by being on/getting publicity at the exact moment in which the voters are filling out their ballots.

Is Stan or Ginsberg the Charlie Kelly of SCDP?

Holy shit that's a great catch. I liked Bob until now but this has really changed my opinion of him.

Even though I've only watched four episodes of MF this year, I don't see how I'm not going to put Burrell on my hypothetical Emmy ballot. He's just fantastic.

The way Ming's presentation was so earnest was what got me. Jessica Lu was fantastic in this episode.

Bottom line, I think it would have been OK (just about) had Megan/Don not been out as late as they were. Leaving Sally, who's basically a teenager and has (as we saw here) exercised authority over her siblings, in charge for a couple of the hours in the afternoon or early evening is something that could work. But as

And why she was supposed to be a Ravens fan.

Any guesses on what the drug they got shot up with was?

Isn't Joan still the Office Manager though (even if she's delegated some of the work to Dawn and Meredith)? She can be that and a partner at the same time.
