Sorry about my tone, it's just that it comes up repeatedly and as someone who has a pathological desire to correct others, but hates repeating himself, it doesn't make me particularly happy.

You'll still find some Germans (and Austrians) who like Hasselhoff, but chances are they're pretty close to 50 and their opinions are not shared by the rest of the population.
Agreed, but we've seen him be as much as an asshole to the others as they're to him, so it doesn't feel too bad.
