That makes sense, thanks.

One thing which is really bugging me is how Finn just made the deadline to run for State's Attorney, but weeks later they're considering running Alicia and Diane. How is that possible? If the filing deadline has passed, surely they can't run (except as some sort of long-shot write-in campaign)

Ironically, the Finns have one some of the highest gun ownership rates in Europe (and the world) (although it has to be said that they don't have quite the same problems as the US in this area).

She was OK in "Wedding Band", a show I am not-all-that-ashamed to say, I watched all thirteen episodes of.

She and January Jones have always bounced off each other so well, it's really a treat to see her back on Mad Men.

My reaction to Kent's reaction was the same (though more genuine) as Kent's reaction (if that makes sense)

I kind of wonder sometimes why Weiner keeps Cooper around, but Morse's acting in the scene where he sees Dawn at the front and heads to Joan's office was spot on.

The German word for "writing desk", "schreibtisch" was on there, so it must be connected to it somehow.

I have never had a 'face in my hands' moment actually happen to me before (although I've tried other avoidance tactics), but I couldn't help it this time when Clark said it - just perfect.

A-

When I first saw her in this episode, I was like - "oh yeah, she's still a character on this show"

B+

Coach's reaction to Schmidt's sudden entry slayed me.

I'VE BEEN POISONED BY MY CONSTITUENTS! (cue throwing up)

A-. there was plenty of awesome stuff in this episode, but it didn't work that well for me all in all. Still extremely enjoyable/thought-provoking though.

I really love the show touching on the Mexican-Cuban divide, which has always really fascinated me, especially from a political standpoint. Hope they discuss it again in the future.

After finishing this, I've finally aligned my view with that of the critics, that House of Cards is an entertaining, but utterly bleak and soulless show which despite great production values, acting etc., is just too empty to be considered a top-level show. One of the main things which gets me is that the only

Garrett Walker.

I really liked Zoe, but that may be more me liking Kate Mara than anything else. Looking back, I don't think I ever *loved* the storylines she was in, but there were parts about them (and the character itself) that I liked quite a bit. Killing her off was definitely a good idea though.

Straight guy and loving Looking. This episode will probably be in my top 10 episodes of 2014 list and I wouldn't be surprised if the show and its cast/crew get more than a few slots on my hypothetical Emmy ballot. Its pretty disheartening to see the ratings so low every week, because this is a fantastic show which
