Right, and this seemed like a genuinely character-driven plot-line? Or did it seem more like the show had realized that it had dug itself into a bit of a hole and basically decided to erase its history?

As good as this episode was, I do think that there's a little bit of a lack of continuity or history, and I'm finding that somewhat irksome. In this one I kept thinking that if Curtis really wanted to cure Lola of her 'power' (of continually acting out a character - another pretty shitty superpower) he could have just…

In the mood for love was better, but it was released in 2000. Personally I prefer Happy Together.

God yes, I agree with almost everything you say. I think it was very similar to 'In Time', and I'm mystified as to why this is getting such good reviews. I think they both, as you said, great premises looking for better movies.

That was hilariously dark, even for this show.
