Considering that the hour-long eps were already stretching the limit of the TZ format, I don't know what is to be made of a 2-hr long movie telling a single story.
I guess something like The Button was managable, but that wasn't trying to specifically be 'The Twilight Zone'

Heyerdahl was on SG:Atlantis as a hulking alien.  He appears in Sanctuary in a couple of regular roles.

Both SG:1 and Atlantis were fine action shows- a cut above, really.  Universe was a step above that.  I preferred Universe to the first two, but it couldn't exist without them, either.
I also really, really enjoyed Caprica.  A superior show in every way.  Indeed there was a little wheel spinning on the one season

A title as generic as the direction the producers seem to be taking the franchise.  James Bond used to set the standard.  Now if feels like they're just following the pack.
There are a few Fleming titles left- 'Property of a Lady' gas some promise.

I don't watch a lot of mystery/crime shows.  Last week I was just lost by the end.  Was the lady lawyer a bad guy or not?  And still, I didn't care.

I imagine this show takes place in the 80s.  Emerson's office has The Machine in it (a wall of blinky lights and giant tape reels).  Every week a punch card would pop out of a slot and off they would go to save someone (and the card would always be someone to save, except for the 3 or 4 eps where the card had the bad

That computer needed a little more presence here.  I feel like Quantum Leap did this sort of thing better.

The real problem with Schweddy Balls is the lack of any rum flavor, and not enough malted balls.  Also, $7 a cup in Georgetown?  I can make a gallon of my own for that kind of cash.

That money is plenty laundered once it is payed out in installment to the IRS.  No one is seeing it again after that, but I don't think even Walt is going to miss even 600k

This show is all about Walt's desire to be alpha-male and never making.  He want;s to be in charge of something, anything so bad he will fuck up (has fucked up) every thing around him.
Why can't he accept making a few million dollars and then slipping away quietly in the night to retirement and eventual cancer death?

He also wrote a movie Clint Eastwood directed and starrred Angelina Jolie.  That JMS is such a slacker.

'Rangers' was pretty slight.  Crusade had a 5 yr arc planned that was never given the chance to even start before the plug was pulled.

I will not hear a cross word for Nana Visitor.  She was completely awesome in DS9.  I firmly believed she was a freedom fighter on a far away planet overrun by other aliens solely onthe force of her personality and performance.

Even at the time it looked like something created 10 years earlier.

It was a trade-off the producers recognized.  They could have one or two model ships, or loads of CGI Ships.
The CG is definitely an artifact of the time, but the space battles were more realistic than any Star Wars dogfight.
I would say the BSG CGI is a direct reflection of the work of the B5 team.

In the original 70s Battlestar Galactica pilot movie, Count Baltar is killed by the Cylon Imperious Leader.  In subsequent TV airings and ensuing series, Baltar is kept alive for his knowledge of Humans and given a detachment of three basestars.

Why is video poker a crime?
Besides, only an idiot would play video anything for money- the house always wins and the video/computer house may as well just be a vacuum hose to your wallet.  Those suckers probably know a lot of Nigerian princes.

I usually finish a show if I start it.  That said, I stopped watching HEROES after the open of S2, and stopped watching The Event halfway through (deleting the 2nd half of The Event off my DVR was delicious).  Oh, and I didn't see the last 4 eps of The Cape.
Basically, NBC is killing my woody for superheroes.

Indeed, Ambrose brings a lot of energy- shes funny, she's driven, she's creepy, she really sells the role.

Some things need to be taken with a grain of suspended disbelief, otherwise we get characters standing around just vomiting up exposition (or talking to themselves).  I think tapping away at computers is the new 'standing around just vomiting up exposition'.
But no, I don't know if anyone actually does that string
