Interchangable shows
So, what's the difference between the interchangability of WealthTVs shows and something like Food Network's programming?

Who knew…
…you could spin 1 weekly hour of 'Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous' into a 24/7 cable channel?

Who do I root for in the Borgias?
Rodrigo and his son are corrupt as hell, the competing factions for the papacy are only out for themselves, the Church itself has been corrupt for it's entire existence.

Mildred Pierce built an empire on Fried Chicken
I mean really…it feels like a no-lose proposition, and I was about ready to start my own chicken-and-waffle restaurant…

'Real Life' was just on this AM- it may still be playing around the cable dial this week.

Next to Larry King…
…I can't imagine anyone whose critical opinion I value less.

How did it ever last this long?
It was worth maybe an hour of TV time, never mind 5 seasons or however long this thing ran.

What, no Madea?
Surely Madea was originally destined for the Goldberg role.

This clearly show the difference between a single- and a live multi-camera sitcom. Scrubs did this too, when Les Charles was the guest and the entire ep was performed as a multi-camera show.

The episode was clever, but it wore it's cleverness on it's sleeve.

More cliched than satirical
The satire here is pretty subtle, relegated mainly to the uniform design and the 'news' footage.
The basic tone and story suggests the simple cliches of sci-fi/war movies. The only thing this misses in the cliche dept is a unit with one of every ethnicity. The pretty actors and the lame

I read reviews to Heroes long after I stopped watching it. It was unwatchable, but I still wanted to hear just how unwatchable it was.

Wiig should sent Mo Collins a check every time she appears in a movie or on TV. Collins was doing the same thing 10 yrs ago, nly much better, and (still) had a rockin' bod to boot.

Actually, that's precisely what's putting me off of this show

The Hawaii Five-O Theme was written by Morton Stevens (he's kind of important- look 'im up) and only covered by The Ventures.

Not such a terrible 'nature movie'.
Well, the tigers are highly anthropormophized, but at least they don't talk.

Green Acres and Soap
For general craziness and surreality, I would compare it favorably to Green Acres.

No movie- please.
AD ended before it's time, but it had some warning and wrapped itself up in about as perfect a way as possible.

Klasky-Czupo of Rugrats and other Nickolodeon fare…
…animated the shorts and the first 2(?) seasons of The Simpsons. At the time they seemed purposefully cheap and ugly (a style half of the Adult Swim line-up would take to heart). Now, they are just ugly.

It's really Stargate: Voyager, and inthat respect it's more of what Star Trek: Voyager should have been from the beginning.
