Is the patronizing tone…
of the VO copy meant to be satirical, or actually taken at face value?

Bloom was just distracted over meeting an old lover from the Field.
This is the type of show that should only have been 13 eps from the outset.
As we learned a couple of weeks ago (via the Washington Post), there are hundreds of organizations like API and thousands of Wills running around with with Top Secret clearances just Intelligence-Analyzing the shit out of the world for the US Intelligence Community.
I like when the AV Club visits a series…
…even without weekly reviews.
Just watched this on cable
I don't think it looks as cheap as all that, but it certainly plays like a low-rent Blade Runner (from the Replicant POV).
'The Beaver' won't make a penny after all of this
Why Jodi Foster ever cast him as the lead I will never know.
Yeah, I was expecting a season opener recap like Warehouse 13. These two shows, like this apparently, don't warrant a weekly comment, but I like what the AV Club writers have to say about them.
FURIOSA!- The Forrrrrbidden Dance!
Mad Max: Electric Boogaloo?
I might pay for a night out of Toy Story. Might. The rest I can pretty much ignore. It''s just a terrible, terrible, terrible line up of releases this summer.
Another season of terrible movies
When I read the Entertainment Weekly Summer Movie Preview, I counted about 4 movies I wanted to see this summer. Last year I saw about 8 or more movies I wanted to see, and actually paid to see two. Based on that, I think I will spend money to see Toy Story, but will look for that…
TheLordFlashHeart:
Babylon 5
when you talk about 'Novelized Television', you are talking about Babylon 5. Straczynski had all 5 seasons plotted out before he ever pitched it (even though he had to make some character changes in seasons 1-4, and rejigger season 5 when he thought it might not get renewed for season 5). He has early eps…
In the book, the guy at the end is only about 30. York would be too old to play him.
The 'Logan' books are terrible
'…the 1976 film deviated substantially from its source, William F. Nolan's and George Clayton Johnson's 1967 science-fiction classic…'
Farscape
At the end of season 2, Aeryn dies somewhat indirectly at the hands of Chrichton, going slowly insane.
I wish they had put off Kurt's Coming Out and strung it along a little more. Tonight would have been worth more if he had not already tried and failed to date Mercedes. And we could have had a whole season of Colfer/O'Malley 'I love you, man' scenes (and O'Malley is really, really good in these scenes).
Not a fan of S. King driven Fantasy
I watched the pilot, but I just cannot get into Steven King and the derivations thereof.
You can pound a nail through flash memory and everything the nail didn't go through will still be there. The washing machine is a problem only in that you have to wait for the end of the cycle to get the card back.
15 min in someone's stomach isn't much a of a problem, I think.
I think both shows are produced out of the very same offices. I'm surprised there isn't more overt cross-pollination of the shows.
