Casino Royale>GoldenEye. But GE was a great return to form for the series. Also, I'm a huge fan of the first Zorro movie that Campbell directed. I thought it was, to borrow a oft-used phrase from Leonard Maltin, a film "that proves they can make them like they used to".

That took me out of the film. Given how realistic everything was until that point, one of the cars should have been a Pinto.

Of the videos attached to the article, I recognized five. I don't count Angels, because although I've heard the original I can't remember hearing Simpson's cover.

Sometimes it's fun just to have a fun episode…

The abortion clinic waiting room
Is it just me, or did anyone else think that it looked very obviously like a set instead of a real location? It really took me out of the scene at first and I can't think of why (lighting? walls too tall?). For a show with impeccable production design that was surprising.

One of the problems that I had with season three of Mad Men was that, at the end, several characters crossed the line from being complex and conflicted to just being assholes. To me, Pete was the worst of them with his rape of the au pair. Yet I find him to now be one of the most sympathetic characters on the show.

C'mon, give her a break…
…this is obviously research for the Bitches In Prison porn film she'll be starring in in less than a year…

Not Mad Men, but "Don Draper"
I was talking to a friend of mine about Mad Men, and how much I thought he would love it. I showed him one scene so he could see how good the production design and costumes were, and in that scene Don Draper introduced himself to another character. My friend said "Oh - *that's* Don

Ah, Nemesis. I remember turning to my friend afterwards and saying "You know, considering the huge things that happened in this film I can't believe that I didn't feel a thing.". It just goes to show what a truly great Star Trek film The Wrath of Khan was - an apt comparison as Nemesis stole from that film shamelessly.

I also watched Alias until the end, and I got two good things out of that experience:

Maybe Gavin MacLeod was sweating that much because he was WEARING A BLAZER AND TURTLENECK SWEATER IN HAWAII!

My time in high school was a *long* time ago, but I definitely remember girls who were uber-hot being un-noticed or unliked in high school. In my high school, the worst thing anyone could be was "weird", which meant deviating from the very narrow range of what was considered normal. So any girl who was pretty but was

A friend lent me one, and I can't recall if it was Gardner or not. It was so bad as to be embarassing. I seem to recall that my friend said that Gardner's started out as pretty good in the beginning, but by the end they were paint-by-numbers attempts and were pretty dire.

I'm assuming that the type of women who will be on this show are the type that will leave their fiances as soon as they think that they can "do better". But as they don't reveal their new look until the wedding, will they

My girlfriend sent me an article last year of "How to tell if someone is a douchebag". One of the tells listed is that they think that Grey Goose vodka is the height of sophistication. The reason that she sent it to me was that my roommate (who I eventually had to kick out) always drank GG vodka. And he also wore Axe

And the "multiple-McCartney as the band" was so good he re-used it for the video for Ebony and Ivory:

I remember the first time I heard this song; I was in a store with my then girlfriend and you could see people stop talking to each other and start to listen to the song. I have never, ever seen that happen before.

I guess I can understand why Cameron would consider this…
I was mentioning to a friend that I watched an episode of Covert Affairs, and he asked me what I thought of it. I said to him that I couldn't believe that JJ Abrams doesn't get residuals for it, especially in one scene when Piper Perabo started making the
