Dated soundtrack and clothing in Fright Night? Man, you should have been at the screening of Casablanca I saw. The character's clothes were 60 years out of fashion! And the music!

My favourite moment in the original A-team was when some bad guys' helicopter flew into a cliff, fell a hundred feet, and then EXPLODED when it hit the ground - and then there was a shot of all the bad guys stumbling out and coughing.

Given how small Quinn's baby bump had been (yes, she was wearing a pregnancy pad for a while) I thought that they were going to stretch one school year over two seasons. Which would have been a good idea in my mind - why tie the show's timeline in with that of the real world? Especially when it limits the number of

So is this a co-production?
The article at EW doesn't say if it's a co-production between Starz and the Beeb or if Starz just has the rights to American showings. Is there anything that Starz would bring to the table in addition to a (perhaps) slightly larger production budget?

Loved the low-key explanation of who The Dreamlord was…
…to me that made it all the more powerful. I also liked the (SPOILERS) explanation that both scenarios were dreams - which makes sense of course, but I didn't think of it before the reveal. I claim tiredness…

Whatever you may feel about Cruise in the real world, when he's onscreen he does commit 110%. That versus Kutcher's "I'm Ashton Kutcher and that's enough" smugness from the Killer's preview makes me give the advantage to Knight and Day. And KaD's first preview did look invitingly fun. Hopefully Diaz's character isn't

A leather daddy in the American army?
Don't tell me…

Evan,

@LadyUranus:

His life was too short
Someone had to say it…

I rewatched the pilot a while back and Jennifer Garner really does give a star-in-the-making performance. I cautioned the woman I watched it with to stop at the end of the second season (ah, Lena Olin…) because it was all downhill from there. What a fall-off-the-cliff change in quality from season 2 until the end.

@ Lone Audience:

Having seen 6 episodes now the new theme has really grown on me. I wouldn't mind a subtle tweaking next year to make the "main theme" more noticeable in the beginning but I can live with it. I must say that the cloud tunnel looks brilliant, though, and really sets up the more fairy-tale vibe Moffat's going for.

I used to be on-board with the Maxi-vision 48 idea, but I believe that the image clarity of digital will catch up and excede it pretty soon. And to download films to the theatre, instead of printing and shipping pysical copies, will improve the economics tremendously. Although I'm not expecting that to lower ticket

Doctor Who is indeed a huge hit, getting some staggering numbers at times at home. I remember reading that the season finale from a couple of years ago was watched on about half of all the TV's turned on in Britain. Even with the fewer channels that's an incredible achievement, and a reporter mentioned being at a

So does that mean that Jessica Alba can't read Mexican?

Also -

Agreed, that was a great line. Love it when they have a great character/actor to lend gravity to the episode (no pun intended).

Skullcrusherjones, Best. Dalek. Comment. Ever.

I immediately thought there was a budget cut after seeing The Eleventh Hour, but they have been using what money they do have on some key scenes. The Spitfires in Space looked pretty damn good (and what a rush for any young British lad who was brought up with their role in history) and there are some very great shots
