It was like a Roseanne/GoT mashup.

Good point. A sniper might have helped the ending of Lost.

I started listening to Harmontown a month ago and suddenly a lot of little things about Community make more sense. For example the Jeff/Duncan buddy stuff just feels right in keeping with the banter on the podcast.

Good episode but the initial ramp up was too abrupt. They needed to build up to it more gradually even if that meant less fun crazy times at the high point of the weirdness.

I thought this was an excellent regular, non-special (like Moriarty showing up etc) episode. A well crafted mystery, an interesting guest star, some fun moments and all well written and acted.

Sounded sad upon the radio.

Well you're from the future. You tell us who or what it is. :)

Funny, kind of.

That photo has the standard Kit Harrington expression. Like a kid thinking "Someone just stole my bike, now I have to walk home."

I just hope this doesn't mean Dewey Crowe dies.

Kids, let me tell you about your mother, and also about Robyn the girl I really wanted and Victoria my bit on the side.

That's the story of life in a nutshell. Or maybe I've been watching too much True Detective.

Yeah I don't think they necessarily are part of the main plotline, the main problem, but something is going on. If they simply witnessed something, rather than were abused themselves, that would fit in with what we've seen. And probably more likely than directly being abused.

It's not going to be continued though. This is it, 8 episodes and done as far as these two guys go.

Maybe but if they don't pay off the strange doll arrangement stuff from early on, it'll be lame.

This was a typical episode for this season in that the mystery part was hard to follow and unexciting, but the relationship stuff and continuing drama aspect was very nice. I prefer that to a great mystery and sucky characterization any day.

If you said this about 3 years ago I'd heartily agree. I liked the series in season 1 and much of 2 but then it got increasingly popular and increasingly The Sheldon Show.

If it really was building up for years like that, then it was irresponsible of him to adopt a child. It may or may not also have been irresponsible for her but for now we're talking about Joel's pov and his story.

Maybe if they were 45 and Raylan was 25. But I agree they are great. Smart is fitting in so well I'd like her to stick around for next season. But I think the odds of her character ending up with multiple gunshot wounds before this season is out is unfortunately pretty high.

Regarding your point 7: What about Marty's wife's father? He's certainly sinister enough. What does he do exactly? Does he have connections to the police? He has the age, wealth and intensity of a good villain in a mystery.
