Using the word Supercop was definitely an overstatement and generalization in an attempt to be entertaining in my post. :)

CNN went to crap ever since it stopped being Ted Turner's baby.

I just watched this and the other four episodes in the last few days. If the Christian politician guy from episode 1 is not the ultimate big-bad I'll be surprised.

Plus he's awesome. One of the nicest and most intelligent TV critics out there.

It was a joke by Kyle. Only made funnier by people taking it seriously.

Yep. A good cast, an interesting premise, some good FX flourishes but the writing is letting the team down. It's too generic.

This was such a boring episode aside from some action near the end, very paint by numbers. I've been rooting for this series from early on but part of that was on expectation that at some point a strong creative vision would kick in, as it did with Sleepy Hollow. But it hasn't happened yet. I'd like the series to be

Half-Hearted Handjob would be a great band name.

This seems like the kind of show Jenna on 30 Rock would try to be in after seeing OitNB and wailing that it should have been her to star in that.

Oh much better. The original UK Office was a parody of these real documentaries that were on British TV at the time in which they profiled the type of everyday people who normally never get documentaries made about them. So baked into that whole concept is that a 9 to 5 office is not the best documentary fodder.

Whoa there. Just because that's what always happens doesn't mean these other commenters are getting worked up over nothing. Okay yes it does.

Yeah that worked early on in The Office because they often were not saying what was really on their mind. But then over time on that show and others like Modern Family it became a crutch to shovel in exposition.

It has been good over the top fun in recent episodes.

The Raylan/Art resolution was not far off from what I expected. We didn't see their conversation but the outcome was the same: Art is upset and has a decision to make. The only surprise is that they handled it in such a stylish and efficient way.

Like running speed of a Stephen Hawking.

This show scared me like nothing else when I was a kid. What contributed to that, and would be something not likely done on tv today, was making the lead character somewhat weak and a bit bumbling. If they cast it today he'd either be very young or if he was old he'd be a badass.

Ava's new troubles all hinge on that one prison guard and if he learns that fact, Boyd can effectively apply a lot of pressure to that guard to get him to recant.

Yes him or Crews would have made more sense. And Fumero coming in a strong third.

It may be flawed but it's still the best sci fi show on network tv in the post-Fringe era. The show needs some good villains, and Gina Carano is a great start. Better show-runners might have developed her into something a little like this series' headless horseman. Not literally obviously though that does bring to

Night Court got his foot in the door, gave him a career but then he branched out and grew into a respected supporting character actor who would appear in many shows.
