The Peralta/Santiago dynamic works well but not just for obvious romantic plot reasons. More so in my opinion because it puts Santiago center stage and she is the closest this show has to a traditional sitcom lead, a normal but insecure straight man/woman surrounded by goofballs.

I never said I was smart, but as to Her - please tell the critics then. All the ones I read and listened to took it at face value as a fairly serious film.

In about 10 years, people are going to look back at Her and laugh so much. It's destined to be an unintentional comedy classic.

edit: redacted - I forgot the golden rule. Don't argue with people on the internet, nobody ever changes their mind.

It struck me during this that Moffat is a lot like the late Tony Scott. Both have some talent and style and pick good actors but they tend to bury their kernel of a good idea under layers of padding and visual gimmicks.

I'd like to thank the long series of NBC programming chiefs who have no idea how to make a hit for enabling Community and several other good shows to survive against the odds.

Yes I know. I'm just saying it was written in the style of a series finale and did it effectively. I guess i worded that too vaguely.

This seemed written as a series finale. I was fine with the show continuing on another year but at the end of this one I was like just stop it here, please. You ended well, let it go.

He was awesome. Someone should give him his own HBO show or a podcast or something.

That was an A episode to me. Nearly non stop laughs and if you weren't spoiled on cameos (I had no idea there would be any), they were this nice extra. Thrilled at Brie Larson's return and impressed by how well Banks is fitting in. He's very clearly giving it his best and it shows.

He's only moving on till Enlisted gets cancelled. So maybe another couple of months.

I think she was about 35. But in CW terms that's just short of 100 years old.

Yes it stood out. The clothes looked nice but maybe a little too nice for the character? Also I wish they'd tone down the makeup on her, it comes across like they don't have faith in her natural good looks.

A-? That seems a little high. It was slow and not very well written by the standards of this series.

He has Diane Kruger. He wins.

I thought the actress who played Esther did an amazing job and was one of the most charismatic characters that have guested on the show. I was surprised they'd let her go, they usually milk what works for a long time.

Nice visuals but the voice acting is grating.

If you stripped out all the batshit insane nonsense you'd have National Treasure 3. It just goes to show what a little batshit insane nonsense can accomplish.

I doubt he could improve Dads.

Now they just need to sign Nicholas Cage and they're all set for season 2.
