Courtney does a terrific job of playing drugged-up hoes…in other words, she ain't acting, she's LIVING, bay-bee!
Courtney. At least Yoko had an art career going before she met John.
Jorge and TomWait's comments are right on. I'll throw in the insane, non-stop touring the Beatles had to endure at the peak of Beatlemania and the death of Brian Epstein as major factors to the break-up as well.
Well, sometimes I'll make a little skid in my undies but a full on shit…I dunno.
I'll give another endorsement for 10,000 Hz Legend. There's a great guest vocal from Beck for the song Vagabond. Which is an amazing mash-up of what's so great about Beck and Air, perfectly complimenting each other.
As far as citing evidence, there's plenty of data on the interwebs. I'm not writing an essay for college and I don't have the time. It's out there, though.
Sometimes the comedy bits are a bit too much, agreed. It feels too much like a bunch of wanna be actors from the local improv class desperately trying to be funny.
But ZMF, don't you know that Old Style is "fully kraeusened?"
As far as a cultural influence and influencing the then punk/new wave movement? I would argue yes. Their influence was not as immediately felt in the mainstream, though.
For what it's worth
Studies have shown that 12 steppers are just as likely to relapse as people who kick their addictions on their own.
Hey Tyler Perry
Would you like to relive some childhood memories?
A fat glutton stuffing his face, just what I want to revisit time and time again on DVD. The commercials are enough.
Put me down for another vote for Karen Revisited.
Jesus, that's what a bathroom stall is for.
Enigmas
I've heard the opposite from my musician friends who've worked with him. His public personna may be one of a hyper-opinionated crank; but I've heard he's very positive and nurturing with unknown acts.
Nice
Wow, double post. I didn't do it…honest.

Iconoclast
Albini has pissed off as many people as those who love him. That's because he doesn't compromise and sticks to his guns. More power to him. He's also wrote a very stinging essay on the nature of the music biz, which should be required reading for any up and coming band:
