I remember it being somewhat popular around campus in college. But so was "Boondock Saints," so grain of salt and everything.

I just want Apple Music to be a separate things from my MP3s, like a website I visit like Spotify.

I don't know if I'd go that far. It's a little too fragmented and meandering to be an album. Plus, it ends on a song that isn't even Frank Ocean's.

"Mark Walberg has never appeared in a movie without looking confused as to why the sun rose that day."

Yeah, the fact that he's shit on here regularly kind of speaks to the echo chamber of the AV Club boards.

Yea, I should have rephrased that. He's good as the starry-eyed sidekick, though he oozes smarm in "Wolf" and this really well.

I didn't view anything as edgy in "Whiplash," so we were clearly viewing through two different lenses.

This is true, or at least he tried his hand with "Due Date," a movie that came out at the height of Downey Jr./Galifianakis fever that made money but has since been forgotten.

Well, to be fair, just listing the comprehensive works of Harmony Korine didn't make for the freshest list month-to-month.

I would imagine UCB's investigation went beyond firing up the old Facebook and Twitter apps and saying "Alright, kick this guy out." I think they probably talked to the alleged victims and went from there.

This seems weirdly hostile. Teller's a decent looking guy and has charisma, so that will get you far. And he's shown in "Whiplash" and "Spectacular Now" he's capable of holding his own. Does he have range? Not really, from what we've seen. But I wouldn't call him untalented.

He's a bit one-note, but he's been solid in pretty much everything. He's funny in "Superbad" and "This Is The End" and good as a smarmy sidekick in "Moneyball" and "Wolf of Wall Street." There's a ton of other less-capable actors worthy of this level of hate.

As others have said, "The Spectacular Now" was pretty good, but yeah, not the best resume.

Eh, I wouldn't blame McKay. "The Big Short" wasn't even released when this was in production. This shares more similarities with "Pain and Gain" where the director comes off of a lucrative franchise to adapt a magazine article about dumb bros getting away with something big. So like everything - blame Michael Bay.

He'll always be responsible for one of the biggest laughs I've ever had watching a movie with the "Aim for the bushes" scene from "The Other Guys."

"Whiplash" is a bad movie? I must have missed the memo on that.

Even though the movie isn't good, it does a solid job of outlining how the military bidding system is fucked and these guys got off super easy. It even pointing out at the end of the movie that in a matter of years, Efraim and Packouz can submit bids again.

Yeah, McKay's proven he's a super smart, thoughtful guy that has a love for dumb humor. Where Todd Phillips just appears to be a bro that's likes bro things.

I guess that means Daniel Day-Lewis is a psychopathic murderer.
