It was a great reminder that Joffrey is still just a teenage boy who happens to rule half the world.

I predict the Jamie-Cersei reunion as Ep. 9 Fireworks Factory: Subplot #1.

Yes, I think you're right — that's the key question to interpreting what he means by that. I had assumed his fortunes, at least to some extent, were secure in any case, but there's been no conclusive info on that either way, that I can remember. Does he need a steady stream of income, I wonder, if he were to just run

Good point about Ygritte and the windmill. It hadn't occurred to her that the 700' wall she just climbed was also made by these people?

Yes, their are.

Hodor.

Yes. This was the first time I got the feeling that Daenerys might return to Westeros not so much to take it back but to save it from the White Walker hordes. (Not that that's her intent at this point, of course, but we've already seen how far intent has predicted reality for most of the key characters.)

Can't even imagine how much time he'll spend dragging his chair around.

They haven't done a patricide on this show yet, have they? Seems like we're due.

p.s. Hodor.

Not Hodor.

Yeah. Somebody torched Winterfell for a reason, and I'm pretty sure it was the guy with the horn, eh?

Don't Count as Progress?!

Great point. Jaime's got to arrive back at KL by the end of this season, right? When he does, Tywin's going to go apeshit about losing his right hand man (*grr*). Tyrion will be freed up from his marriage to Sansa — perhaps even enough to make a power play, if he's inclined.

Doesn't seem like Tyrion's worried about retaining his wealth, though. He's said twice now, in response to Shae's plan to run away, "But what would I *do*?" It's more like he's afraid to be a bored nobody in Essos than a beggar in Essos.

Yeah! Good thing all that trampling of the underclass ended in the Middle Ages!

Problem with Locke is I thought *he* was the aforementioned bastard for several episodes, after he captured Jaime and Brienne. Which added more confusion than probably necessary to the "mystery" of Theon's torturer.

Maybe that's why they added roof ventilation in Dany's dreamtime sequence. Let's in a little snow, but hey…

I bet Aemon Targaryen is secretly a badass.
