Great list! Or I assume people thought it was from all the comments! I fell asleep halfway into reading it. Fleetwood Mac? The Eagles? Billy Joel? Snoresville!

I too was very taken with Hartley in the early 90s—The Unbelievable Truth was a revelation for me—but he started losing me from Amateur onward. I've seen recent appeals to crowdfund his next project on Facebook but haven't looked any further.

The Rampage of the Day

Difficult to find? It's streaming on Netflix.

Is it just me, or is this week's Walking the Room critique extra incoherent?

I just came here to say I love fucking your mother.

Mr Tobias, I have very much enjoyed your AV Club work and this column in particular. I've felt like I could always count on you for level-headed and thoughtful explorations of challenging films, as well as entertaining lambastings of deserving films. All the best to you.

DAMN YOU

In the running for my favorite quote of all time.

I watched this movie more than 50 times when I was in high school (surpassing even the number of times I'd watched ERASERHEAD), yet I only watched it stoned once. I found watching it stoned didn't enhance the experience any, just made me sleepier.

What a country!

Is Tiffany Million in this? I was a big fan of her post-GLOW work.

It's clear that I clearly did.

"Fey’s clear love for the world she’s invested her professional life in comes through clearly on every page." Clearly!

The More The Scarier!

Mental Illness Happy Hour seems to be in a slump lately. Bring Dr. Jessica Zucker back, stat!

I've "heard" him on Doug Loves Movies a couple of times, and now this, and now I wonder why he even goes on these things.

Seraphs of the heavens: here comes lunch.

Okay, I got somethin': he got to fuck Christy Canyon. He will always be a better man than me in that regard.

(shrug) POW!
