Final sentence: the term is free rein, not reign.
I can't believe we'll never get to see her final showdown with Brother Justin!
She is queer. The self-hating kind.
Watt?
The *real* madness is how much Rob Delaney likes tacos!
Around that time, I was amazed when I went to a show and found he had worked "Pablo Picasso" back into his act. This was after I'd already seen him live a couple of dozen times and the closest he'd come to doing original-Modern Lovers material was a snippet of "She Cracked" during "Bermuda." Not as cool as…
And Killer Joe completely glossed over! Unbelievable.
Considering it was his first solo outing, I'd say he warmed to it pretty well. I can't see him *not* bringing in buddies, because carrying a podcast solo has got to be exhausting, and I'd imagine DA enjoys the interplay as much as we enjoy listening to it.
It was a relief to see that Dave Anthony is not letting Walking the Room go gently into that good night. Greg Behrendt is great, but when it comes down to it Dave doesn't strictly need him as a foil when he has The World to fill that role.
Around the time it was published, I didn't read that article and think "Boy, this guy sounds like an asshole," and I'm a judgmental dick.
This article would have been a good vehicle to publicize the Neal Pollack Invasion reunion gig in Austin, had you run it yesterday. As it was, Neal and band performed to 5 people. The guy can't catch a break.
And that's before taxes and agent's commissions and union dues. And those checks aren't coming in one after the other, either.
Aw, screw!
Not really.
Kiss Gina Gershon? This is IFC, dude. Have her toss your salad.
I'm sure she's talked about Killer Joe a lot lately, but probably not nearly as much as she's talked about Showgirls for the past 20 years. And she at least seems glad to have been a part of Killer Joe.
I'm forecasting the Gina Gershon episode will go in The Rest as well. She was cool, but how could Marc not ask about Killer Joe??!?
Why this Podmass column is still being published while Walking the Room is on hiatus is beyond me.
She was a great guest and she brought out the best in Paul as well.
