For a long time this show for me was "United States of Tara", which I ended up watching after it was cancelled and genuinely enjoyed.
The pilot for House of Lies is right up there for one of the most disappointing TV experiences. How can you take that cast and makeā¦that?
1/5th the size of Rhode Island!
Is he affable? I thought the internet love from him was based on his carefully cultivated image of being, essentially, a Bond villain.
I think Putin likes the international uproar, because it allows him to point to the rest of the world and say "See? The west doesn't respect our Russian values. Now: WE STRIKE." and then Shostakovich's Leningrad symphony starts to play and we're all in trouble.

Huh. Are you talking about Kalan Porter? He used to date a friend of a friend, and I once peed next to him at the Velvet Underground (the bar, not the classic band).

How badly is Chicago going to destroy Calgary tonight?
I like the show, but it really doesn't grab me in the way Archer, American Dad or even something like Gravity Falls does. I have a feeling it's going to be a lot like me and King of the Hill, where it just clicks one day and becomes one of my favorite shows. Because it's clearly excellent.
Go Long York Islanders!
Bless you, ants.
The animation would probably have to be downgraded to suit a weekly series, but otherwise it could probably work. The cast isn't full of superstars (except in our hearts, and possibly Samuel L.)
I actually haven't asked because I'm a terrible friend, but I assume it's something like "Jittery coffee shop patron" or "Man wearing jaunty hat"
Also: a friend of mine was just cast in this. This is his first role in a possibly non terrible show!
I thought Sheen was fantastic - it was a different take on Lee than almost every other civil war movie.
classical is 18th century
