Oh, Bulk Barn, the only place I know of that you can buy the objectively best gummy candy — Dinosours. They are sour and shaped like dinosaurs.
I was an early adopter of Civ 5 (bought it at release), and found myself aggravated by the game until we got the two expansions (the thought of playing a game without tourism or religion baffles me). I now love Civ 5.
Finally saw The Witch — good, but not exceptional. I've definitely had some thought-provoking conversations about it though.
It really is! I posted here semi-regularly from 2011-2013, but then Disqus started fucking up my account so I stopped posting with any frequency. But I always know I can pop in a TI/Reasonable Discussions post and have some lovely conversations!
I will say this in Disqus' defense — when I logged in today for the first time in 7 months it only took ONE TRY to get my AV Club account working, rather than the normal 3 or 4 attempts.
This Sunday I'd like to go to my friend's Halloween party at her loft, but I said I'd hang out with my other friend this weekend, and I noticed on the Facebook event she deliberately invited my other friend's recent ex-girlfriend and not him. So it's so classic high school bullshit. Hopefully things work out!

Traveling to Montreal for work for a couple days next week, but I'll be too busy to really do anything there.
While I'm not really a found footage horror fan, I will throw my hat in the ring for the entertaining and surprisingly disturbing Creep. I know a lot of people hate Mark Duplass, but he's excellent in it as well.
You can witness James Adomian getting in a fight with John Teti on Twitter over this snub right now!
Definitely was Eve. Looking at the box art brought back a lot of memories!
I also was, even about the age of 11 or 12, pretty darn gay, so the copious female nudity did nothing for me either.
I remember my dad being pretty into that game with Peter Gabriel in it. I remember being shocked because you could see boobs in it. Fun times!
This is awesome! For some unknown reason I rented Alien Intruder when I was a kid and it always stuck out to me in a "How the heck did this movie get made?" kind of way.
Moon Pies are being adapted into a new premium drama on Crackle!
I know! I made a list of my top 20 (which actually had 21 shows), and I left off great shows like Review, Steven Universe, Daredevil, Orange is the New Black…it's crazy. What a time to be alive!
It's a slow burn for sure on the first watch, but once you go back those first episodes are just as good! It's sort of like BoJack in that way.
Yeah that's weird. I get that there are definite parallels between the shows, but let's move on! All the cool kids are fighting about if Fargo or The Leftovers is better, now.
I liked every new movie I saw this year! However I am going to watch United Passions this weekend at a bad movie party, so let's assume that that will be my pick.
