In their defense, the sci-fi aspect does differentiate it from a host of other workplace comedies. But what's so hilarious about Better Off Ted is that the sci-fi stuff is stuffed in the background - these people are working for super-villains, essentially, but it's no different than if they were working for Wal*Mart…

Her delivery is nothing short of brilliance. It would have been easy to portray the character as an evil harpy, but di Rossi goes for insincere instead and it's just wonderful to watch.
