… but I think the arc that Sons took was an interesting on, albeit poorly executed: Jax ultimately failed as a leader, and arguably drove the club to destruction with his poor decisions.

Much like Rescue Me. First two seasons were great, then meandering around for several more.

My thoughts exactly. The story of the corruption of John Tellers dream for the club after returning from Vietnam sounds like a more interesting story than the continuing adventures of the Mayans …

Any excuse to post one of my all time favorite Onion stories …

Christ Almighty, he is the fucking Guy Fieri of sports personalities.

    Wow, thanks!

Thankfully it's only in sports programming where blowhards fail upwards …

I suspect we'll think of all these smarthome, Internet-of-things devices similarly in several years: as the "revolutionary" inventions that not many people seem to want.

His interactions with Craig Sager are gold. All reports from anyone who has ever met KG say that he is incredibly good guy.

He may never catch Jordan as the GOAT, but LeBron seems like a far happier man on and off the court than Jordan was, or is now.

Hasn't he pretty much admitted as much in court?

Agreed. This idea that she is some sort of heroic journalist all of a sudden boggles my mind. She jumped ship from Fox for money and more exposure, and and fucking simple. She would interview the devil himself on Breitbart online if she got paid. She is a celebrity first and foremost.

Agreed - I thought it was the best show of the year.

I think that Bale touches on that aspect of Bruce Wayne when he channels his inner Patrick Bateman in the scene at the hotel, or at his party. He is essentially playing a character called "Bruce Wayne," when he is really Batman.

"Julia Roberts has apparently decided that it’s time for her to embrace this whole television thing."

He's the Jon Hamm of beefy comedians: always and forever welcome on the TV screen, not so much on the big screen.

… and there wasn't a mean-spiritedness to it, which is actually a bit refreshing. Much of my TV-watching palette is dark, caustic, Peak TV; well-done traditional sitcoms are always a nice respite.

Came here to say the same. I consider myself a connoisseur, nay a border-line Golden Age TV snob … but there will always be a place in my heart for an inoffensive, well-made, tried-and-true traditional 3-camera sitcom with a heart, and King of Queens was that. I'm not above parking the remote on an hour of KoQ reruns,

Before we all jump off a bridge here, let's remember that most car companies, and even oil companies, are already, and probably still, committed to the previously agreed upon emissions regulations. There is a worldwide market, not just America. While the optics of this are awful, I want/have to think that this will
