    Uh, it's obviously a duster …

    I … I can't argue with that logic!

I thought Joe Bernthal's casting as the Punisher on Daredevil was the most nerdtastically perfect casting news of the year … but this, this ..

Yup. I saw them in 2010, and they were fantastic, but the 2013 show was even better. Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns was pretty much worth the price of admission right there.

They can also play absolutely any song in their catalog, any B Side, any unreleased song, any cover … I can only think of maybe Dylan and Springsteen who have such a reverence for seemingly every song they have ever written.

… and they, somehow, seemed to get better each time out. I saw them several years ago in Hartford, and thought that that was the best PJ show I'd ever seen … and then they returned a few years later, and played for almost three hours, with the last few songs played with the house lights up.

I'd like to add their rockin' covers of Van Halen's "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love," which they've only played the last two times they played Hartford.

… or, you see them live again and again, and realize that they are still one of our best live acts. Two and a half hours, every night, with a different setlist.

Flaming Fuck-up of a Fantastic Four Movie really seems like it would write itself …

… except that Avengers Tower has been seen in skyline shots on Daredevil … I think.

SAST gave us young Jon Stewart, don't forget.

I find Dave Grohl to be an incredibly likable guy, who seems like a very interesting person. His interviews reflect this, and his knowledge, curiosity, and open-heartedness, and his reverence for rock and roll history are reflected in the Sound City doc, as well as the Sonic Highways series.

"Al Pacino and De Niro show no signs of easing up their schedules (and are often rewarded for their diligence with complaints about how they’re somehow not electrifying audiences the way they used to)" … as if the two of them have decided to take quieter, smaller character roles in smaller films, instead of cashing

Sigh … KFC commercials, Real Rob … why is Norm McDonald doing this shit?

That bit of footage of Han shooting first and only is really the buried gem in this article.

Agreed. Glad the AV Club, unlike some other sites, chose to actually review the album 25, and not review the album that isn't 21.

Yeah, a whole paragraph of speculation … can a For Your Consideration column be far behind?

Eh, she is only 27, although she seems much older. She can use all the bank this is gonna make, and spend her 30s or 40s exploring any musical whim she chooses. I love Adele, and I would like to think that she'll make some albums with some riskier producers or write some different themes as she gets older.

What the hell was that show on cable, with the drugs? I think that was set in Albuquerque or something …

I still consider Zodiac one of the scariest, creepiest movies I've seen in a long while.
