The idea of a seemingly directionless Clark Kent roaming the earth, like Cain, is a bit intriguing … but the film has hims doing this, apparently, for 15 years or so … he couldn't find a better use for his powers? I really didn't like the that angle of the film - that Superman couldn't use his powers at all, lest the

Like a lot of people, I have very mixed feelings about Man of Steel … but the trailer for that film pretty much captured so much of the essence of Superman in a couple of minutes. Wish the film had gone that way, instead of being so dour …

What I wouldn't pay to see Marvel somehow let Scorcese get his hands on a Marvel film … hell, Branagh did one.

It's better than Hell on Wheels. I gave up on Hell on Wheels after the first season. Turn's characters are more likeable, and the story seems to be rooted in actual history.

There's an XMan named … XMan.

I've been saying it wrong all these years?! Oh, I've wasted my life …

    "I'm … not attractive …"

    "It's all coming up Milhouse!"

I can't tell you how many times my buddies and I still drop this one into our conversations …

Somewhat obscure Simpsons-reference avatar … a Community connection … Tenacious D … this comment is one Wire-reference away from an AVClub royal flush.

    Is he all CGI?

Yeah, I'm pretty amazed in this day and age of on-set cell phone photos and Internet scooping that Vision has been kept under wraps so well …

pleading with the crowd for … for some of sanity …

Still more insightful and cogent than anything Deion Sanders or Michael Irvin bring to the table …
