C'mon … Zooropa? Stay? The Wanderer?
C'mon … Zooropa? Stay? The Wanderer?
Agreed. I didn't realize America's iTunes users had such carefully curated, fragile iTunes libraries that can't tolerate one extra album.
This show looks really good, too - it must have a fairly healthy budget, for the "pirate town" and the ships look beautiful …
This is one of those shows that my mother "watches" … and by "watch," I mean she puts it on, and then after three minutes, starts making phone calls to her various cousins throughout the tri-state area, and talks loudly on the phone while the various CBS procedurals blend into one another in the background, and then…
Yeah, I liked it too - not so much for the parenting part, though; I thought the marriage chemistry between Arnett and Applegate was terrific, and Maya Rudolph stole every scene she was in …
DL gets a lifetime pass for Tao of Steve and Terriers, but he is pretty bad in this, for god knows what reason (I, too, thought that this role was essentially written with him in mind). I hate to say it, but I thought he was a bit miscast in Vikings, as well. Not sure how many people actually watched it, but it was,…
I so wanted to love Gotham, but it is fucking terrible so far …
Really?! I haven't watched this yet … oh please be a guy in a gorilla suit, and not some cut-rate CGI monkey!
Gorilla Grodd better show up in this show … y'know, for versillimitude's sake …
So, he has all but guaranteed himself as a guest and panelist on all of Fox News' shows for the upcoming month or so, yes?
Holy Christ … this looks like a Troy McClure picture …
I respect Springsteen, and like a lot of his songs, but I would not consider myself a fan, per se … yet this is one of my favorite albums. Similar situation with REM - i'm no more than a casual fan, yet New Adventures in Hi-Fi is one of my favorite albums.
He was so winning in his small role in Into the Wild … the McCon comparisons are so apt, because this guy used to always give a good performance early in his career, and then decided for whatever reason to spend a decade or so phoning it in. I hope he is good in this.
Like, why?! The same reason Two-and-a-Half Men, 2 Broke Girls, The Millers … people like their easy dumb ….
Yeah, I still remember that last bit of narration, intoning "Dr. Sam Beckett never made it home," or something to that effect.
It's true, it's true … we're so lame!
King's two recent door stop book, this and Under the Dome, are both very good. Worth the back pain lugging them around.
Is he? Are you poppin' my rocks about that?
Man, how many articles about Bono is the AV Club going to post this month?
That tracklist is pretty much my POP mix now. I love, love, love that podcast because not only is it funny, but the two guys are sincere and unironic about their love of U2's music.
