Hasn't been made yet, Brian. We can make it … we can make it.

Man, did Bruce Willis ever nail that world weary, put-upon everyman in the first Die Hard. Just saw a commercial for the latest in the "franchise," which is now just a blow-em-up action movie … so far removed from what the original Die Hard was.

Eh, Pitt is pretty movie starish to me … he just about never makes a bad movie anymore, and seems to always work with an interesting director. Haven't seem Killing Them Softly yet, but that looks good.

I just caught this on cable the other night; haven't seen it in a while. Great film, with a Michael Mann spooky, nighttime LA atmosphere, and an icy Cruise.

VH II is no slouch either. What a one-two punch to start a career …

Christ, compared to what passes for new rock bands these days, I'll take a solidly "solid" new VH album any day of the week, and twice on Sunday. You and Your Blues, Chinatown, Blood and Fire, As Is, Trouble With Never, Outta Space are all very good rockers … hell, Chinatown is great, and out and out rocks.

Licensing issues is the reason why Marvel had to use Shemp as Han Solo on the cover, I'm assuming?

Man, Sean Penn left Haiti to show up in this piece of crap?

Amazing. Astonishing. Ultimate. Superior. I sometimes think Marvel keeps these endless reboots/ret-cons going to burn off a surplus of adjectives they have laying around the office …

For Your Consideration: "Is there really much of a difference between Zero Dark Thirty and The Devil’s Rejects?"

While I really liked the moment at the end of the film when De Niro gives his little "it's a sin" spiel … I thought that this film REALLY glossed over the fact that this man seems to be a degenerate gambler who seriously puts his son at emotional risk in service to his betting. But thene again, the movie plays off

Agreed … I thought the consensus was that it wasn't Silent Alarm, but it was still pretty good. Waiting for the … has such a great chorus …

I've talked about this with my dentist (who is a really good guy and a good dentist): part of the fear of dentists is that that tray of dental tools looks like it hasn't progressed beyond 1845. If I walk into a doctor's office or the hospital  it's often filled with space-age technology … my dentist's arsenal of

My ortho was something of a angry genius. His deal was something akin to "I'll fix your teeth … but MY way!" Like seemingly all of my friends, my teeth were royally crooked as a kid, so I needed braces. Dr. R. did exactly what he said he would - straightened'em out for good, but was seriously a dick about it. He would

Oh, god - the foley man earned his money in that scene … just thinking about that sound of teeth crunching on the curb gives me a shiver …

Well, thanks for setting me straight, guy. I love Kanye's least commercial and worst selling album, but somehow I still only listen to music that MTV and the radio tell me is great!

Yup. Just another case of everyone thinking that his/her ticket makes him/her  part of the show. It's part of my unscientifically tested theory that, because so much of our entertainment (TV, online reading, websites like this) is interactive, that people just naturally assume live events are now the same way.

Not sure if folks outside of CT. are aware of this, but there has already been a request by a lawyer to file a $100 million lawsuit against the state on behalf of one of the survivors of the Newtown shooting.

Christ, after that press conference a few weeks ago, so could I. Armed teachers + armed students = safety for all!

She released an album years ago titled Let's Go Bang … sadly, not an invitations …
