The guys has 5 albums … is his career that inscrutable that we need a primer?
Toby Harrah … every fucking pack of Topps I opened as a kid had that motherfucker in it …
Hopefully they Rastify Gatsby by about 15% …
Everyone points to this year as his comeback year, but his hilarious part in Tropic Thunder is where he started getting his groove back.

I've admittedly only watched snippets of this show, but is the actual premise that these guys are making illegal booze? How are they not arrested after the first episode?

Yeah, agreed - he always looks like he should be fronting a Papa Roach tribute band … anyhow, Endtroducing is still terrific. Maybe this'll sound a little too "get off my lawn," but I'll take DJ Shadow any day of the week and twice on Sunday over any of the current wub-wub-wub "DJs" …

Yeah, I used to subscribe to SPIN for a long time, because I thought they walked the line between underground music and popular, more commercial music really well. But I finally cancelled about a year or two ago, when I tired of not knowing whatever male/female keyboard duo or weed rapper was on the cover this month.

Yes, I agree with that.

Yeah, and there were hints of what would later come in Quick Change and in Maddog and Glory, too. Rushmore is absolutely perfect, in my mind, but I think it is a touch overrated in being Bill Murray's first "mature" film.

Ryan Adams seems like he's doing okay to me, too.

No argument here. Here's a guy who seems intent on making a good movie and giving a good performance every time out, and appears to always stay above the Hollywood bullshit celebrity fray. I'd be hard-pressed to come up with a film of his that I haven't liked, and this looks like a great interpretation of Gatsby.
